Typo Tuesday: Found Type

Every day we are surrounded by typography, from business signage to road signage. We are so exposed to millions of different messages, and often beautiful found typography becomes lost in everything else we absorb.

One blog that is preserving found typography is Melbourne Type. This blog is an anonymous collective of designers, musicians, illustrators artists and type enthusiasts.

After being inspired by Melbourne type, the Headjam team took photos of found typography around Newcastle. With so much fantastic creativity in Newcastle, finding type on even the shortest of walks isn't hard. This is what we came up with.
