We feel like playing with toys for today's Typo Tuesday! This particular typography was derived from a creation for the Design and Art Direction Awards. Called 'Big Toy Typeface', this typography includes pastels, with some surprise bold metallic colours at the end. Watch closely for the smiley face in the GIF as well.
Vicente Garcia Morillo is the brains behind this typograhy. He is a Spanish designer who has worked for Urban Outfitters, Nike, Adidas, and he's been published in a wide variety of press including Wired Magazine and El Duende Magazine. If you browse his Behance, his Facebook and his website, you will quickly see this young Spaniard is headed for success. (Or maybe he's already reached it.)
Headjam loves the childlike feeling that comes with viewing these typefaces. However, Morillo's work isn't completely innocent. It's not every day you find spinning tops and building blocks in typography and phrases like "Hell Yeah" and "Black Heavy Metal." Visit the original site to find some other surprising expressions!
