Word-Play-01

We love typography that's not only well designed but also strategically crafted, and Graphic Designer Arun Raj from India has demonstrated this beautifully. With bold colours and black and white letters, he's created a typography that anyone can interpret regardless of his or her reading level.

With his typography Word Play, he takes the word's meaning and then defines it visually through his placement of each letter. With creativity like this, who needs a dictionary? This is his first round of descriptive typography, and he's also got another version called Word Play 2 where he interprets words like kiss, shark and devil.

Arun has received fantastic reviews in many countries. His Behance Page states that he looks for "creative opportunity where modern culture collaborates with creative and talented geeks". You can see what he's up to by following him on Twitter
